Welcome Sean & Katy

We are so excited to announce that we have hired our new Junior High Pastor - Sean Corah! His lovely wife Katy has also come on board as our Junior High Worship Director.

Sean and Katy Corah began ministry interning in Lakeland, FL for three years. They were married May 31, 2013. For the past two years they have served as youth and worship pastors in Morenci, AZ.  They are excited about being the new Junior High youth pastors at CRB. Sean and Katy are passionate about Jesus and about people (especially students). Their desire is to see teens sold out for Jesus and their peers. Reaching this community, building relationships with students, and seeing them become true followers of Jesus, are the main priorities.

Make sure you stop by and introduce yourself and make them feel welcome in their new home!

And the new Children's Pastor Is...

We are so excited to have our very own Heidi accept the role of Children's Pastor. We searched far, we searched wide, but the best fit was in our own backyard! Heidi is a mother of six kids...so she definitely knows her way around children. She has been our Junior High Pastor for the past several years, but she is really excited to be back in CRB Kidz, where it all began! Here first big event, VBS, was a HUGE hit this week! 109 kids spent their morning playing, singing and most importantly, learning about Jesus.

Heidi has such a passion for sharing the love of Jesus with children and she is a fantastic addition to the CRB Kidz team! We love you Heidi, and the whole Hicok clan!

Stay tuned for our next update where we will introduce you to the new Junior High Pastor...

I love Junior High students, but there is something so sweet about listening to a little one pray.

Room Renovations

We are so excited about the renovations we have made in Room 21 & 22!

The  transformation of Room 21 is complete and the Junior High services now take place in there. The room has been outfitted with three TV screens and a state of the art light & sound system. The students love their new space and are so excited to have their own place to worship!

Room 22 is coming along nicely and is almost done. The drop ceiling was ripped out to make the space feel bigger. With other structural changes that have happened in there, we can now fit more kids in there on the weekends!

We reached our $250,000 Goal!

As excited as we are to continue down our What's Next path, we are more humbled and proud of YOU. For each and every one of you who listened to God and felt a call on your heart to give above and beyond your regular tithe. We sincerely appreciate every single contribution from $5 to $500 and beyond.

One very cool thing that happened was that when we initially announced our figure to congregation it was $237,830. After service, someone came up and wrote a check that bumped that figure to $250,001! We are in awe of all of your generosity!

Thank you for allowing God to use you and we can't wait to see what He does next!

Power of Prayer

In honor of the National Day of Prayer, we are kicking off our What's Next Prayer Campaign.

We would like to invite you to join us from the comfort of your own home. Pray for 30 seconds, 3 minutes, 30 minutes - however long you feel the words spilling from your heart. Below is some guidance supplied by Pastor Ken and the Prayer Team.

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
— Matthew 7:7

Thank you for taking the time to pray for the “What’s Next” Vision here at CRB. We believe in the power of God through prayer and appreciate your support. Matthew recorded these words from Jesus:

  1. Praise that we reached the $250,000 goal to raise funds to support the vision. Thank the Lord for all the people who stepped up and gave over and above their regular giving to reach the goal.
  2. Pray for the work to be quickly completed in Room 22 as part of the efforts to re-energize our Children’s Ministry.
  3. Pray that our search for a new Children’s Pastor will be efficient and effective in bringing the right individual to us.

We have so much to be grateful for and so much to ask for patience, guidance and clarity on as well

You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.
— Matthew 21:22

634 Students Experience Easter

Easter is always a fun celebration, but this year we had a few extra things to celebrate!

G22 Student

We kicked off our new service times for Junior High & High School - both age groups now have services at 9 & 11am. The transformation of Room 21 is finished and the Junior Highers had their first service in their new space! 127 students worshipped and heard the good news of Jesus over the 4 services! 96 high schoolers attended the G22 "Arise" Easter service complete with a rockin' worship set.

It was an amazing Easter for our Jr. High students as we celebrated Jesus in our new home! Students filled the room with energy and excitement and remarked how it felt like their youth room!

CRB Kidz

Our CRB Kidz program was full of fun opportunities to learn about Jesus! Kids were greeted in the atrium by the Easter Bunny, they had a live band comprised of some of our high schoolers, a skit by our Drama Team and an egg hunt.

God brought us 411 children over the four Easter services, the largest number ever. It was crazy fun!

A grand total of 634 students ranging from K-12th came through our doors and experienced the love, grace and sacrifice that Jesus has given us. Praise God!

Pour Into Others: Steve & Brittany

Steve & Brittany Ingold have grown up in this church. The way that people poured into them when they were young has shaped their lives and now they are continuing that legacy by pouring into children and youth on a daily basis.

This church has been a place I can look back on as a part of my past that really helped me get to where I’m at today. If it weren’t for this church, I don’t think I would be a pastor. I don’t think I would be leading, I don’t think I would be caring for people the way I am now. There were people here who encouraged me and saw potential. And when I look at the next generation, I see potential.
